This vegan not-too-sweet oatmeal is a comforting way to start your morning. The spices make this dish light for digestion, while the sesame seeds and figs add valuable nutrition and a sophisticated taste. Cooking this oatmeal is very simple and quick, which makes it perfect for a busy morning.

Breakfast Oatmeal with Figs and Sesame Seeds

Serves 1
  • 1/2 cup Rolled Oats
  • 1 cup Water
  • 2 Dried Figs, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame Seeds
  • 1 dash Cinnamon
  • 1 dash Cardamom
  • 1 dash Nutmeg
  • 1 pinch Black Pepper
  1. Stir all the ingredients into rapidly boiling water. Lower the heat and simmer for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  2. Serve hot. Enjoy!
