How To Make Chili Cumin Potatoes


  • 4 medium potatoes (thinly sliced)
  • 1 tbsp ghee or oil
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 whole small red chili (or to taste)
  • 3/4 cup hot water
  • Salt to taste

Cooking Instructions

  1. Heat the ghee in a pan over a medium heat. Add cumin seeds and whole chili. Let them sizzle for a minute.
  2. Add the potatoes and mix with the cumin seeds and chili.
  3. Add hot water and salt and mix well. Cover pan with a lid.
  4. Cook on low heat for 10-15 minutes or until the potatoes are soft.
