Pine Tea – An Elixer from the Tree of the Gods

The ancient Ayurvedic healers highly esteemed the numerous health benefits of pine or “devadaru”, which means “tree of the gods” in Sanskrit.

The unique qualities of the pine help to promote a long, healthy and robust life by working from the level of hormones. Pine needles reduce inflammation, open and detoxify circulatory channels, fight hormonal imbalance and early aging symptoms. They are rich in Vitamin C and Vitamin A.

Pine Tea

Serves 1
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 handful Fresh Pine Needles, removed from the branches
  • Raw Organic Honey to taste
  1. Collect and wash a handful of fresh pine needles
  2. Place the needles in a cup with strainer
  3. Pour hot water in the cup
  4. Steep for 10 minutes
  5. Strain and add honey to taste
  6. Enjoy!
