Turmeric Milk

There are many Ayurvedic practices that can help you to stay healthy throughout the winter months. One of my favorite remedies is Turmeric Milk which is not only extremely immune-boosting and nutritious but itís also comforting, relaxing, and soothing. Turmeric contains loads of nutrients, especially antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds. Together with black pepper and saffron, this amazing spice makes a very potent formula which will help you feel your best this winter.

Turmeric Milk

Serves 1
  • 1 cup Whole Milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 pinch Saffron
  • Unrefined Sugar or Jaggery (optional) – to taste
  1. Boil the milk. Reduce heat to low.
  2. While constantly stirring, add Turmeric, Black Pepper and lastly Saffron.
  3. Remove from heat and serve hot.
